The POSITIVE DICTIONARY is unique. It contains only words with positive connotations. Every word conveys a positive message in the form of a positive action or activity which can be practiced on a daily basis. For every word there is also a basic truth in the form of a positive thought, a motto, or a slogan which can be followed in life.
One can work systematically through the book by choosing specific words and deliberately putting them into action for a week or two or more to cultivate a positive outlook on life.
The book covers positive actions and thoughts in the following areas:
Basic values, Spiritual values, Relationships, Goodness, Thinking, Enjoyment, Work, Effectiveness, Goals, Learning , Motivation, Health and Wellness, Community Service and a General Positive Outlook on Life.
The POSITIVE DICTIONARY:
+ fosters a positive outlook on life;
+ inspires in difficult times;
+ improves relationships;
+ explains the deeper meaning of words
The POSITIVE DICTIONARY is also a useful tool to anyone who is actively involved in providing counseling services.

Good to hear from you. We live in Calgary near the mountains but I also love the prairies of Saskatchewan where our daughters live.
In my book, The Positive Dictionary, I explain the word 'Positive' as follows:
Positive: Be positive about everything in life and life will treat you positively.
I have personally found that it works! Not necessarily immediately but it works!
Something else that I can recommend to you is the following:
When you are in a negative situation, say to yourself 'This is a negative situation. How can I change it into a positive situation? 'The moment you ask that question your mind finds the solutions and the opportunities. Again, it works!
Please write again.
